A working party attended Tawny Wood in East Devon on Saturday 6th December when work was undertaken to clear some of the remaining undergrowth to encourage new growth and to create a more enriched habitat for wildlife. The day was greatly enhanced by the arrival at mid-day of George and Julia Harris who had travelled from Tavistock to visit this woodland reserve owned by Devon Birds.
