The first of the two photos is a Goatsbeard, given the Folk - name of 'Jack-go-to-bed-at-noon'. Pappus makes a large clock like Big Ben & as you can see it also has a dial !!!

South Molton 25 May

2 cockchafer beetles, one alive, found this evening in garden. First time in 10 years.
