Unusual seal behaviour

Walked down to the Turf locks this afternoon at low tide. A seal was in the channel and several times moved into the shallow water on the edge of the channel till half out of the water then surged forward with a lot of splashing.. I assume trying to flush flatfish. He caught a large flounder type.
