We are back in Lockdown, all sightings posts from observers should only be in their very local area (town, village or part of city). Any posts where the observer is obviously travelling distances to other sites will be deleted, Devon Birds will not edit these posts.

Braunton Burrows

Now is a good time of year to plan a visit to Braunton Burrows. Go on a day when the weather is good & you will not be disappointed.

The flowering plants are beautiful.

Sandy Lane car park is now open.

Ford Park Cemetery 09/06/2020

Nothing interesting on the bird front apart from heaps of House Sparrows and Goldfinch young. 

Non Avian

Common Green Capsid bugs, Speckled Bush Cricket Nymphs, Burnet Companion Moth, Cinnabars and Marbled White Butterflies
