Middle Soar

Walking along tramlines carrying out Skylark breeding surveys early this morning, flushed a Stone Curlew from an open space in a field of winter wheat. Bird circled me for c.3 mins then flew off east!

Note_ Soar car parks now open. Off to Dartmoor tomorrow!
