Dawlish Warren

Continued erosion at Dawlish Warren means visitors are reminded to take extra care when visiting. Access along the site, to and from the bird hide and Warren Point, is via the beach only, with a risk of being cut off for a period either side of high water! Further information is available on the Teignbridge District Council website:

Rose Coloured Starling - Deepway Park, Exminster

Not 100% sure but please see low quality phone camera picture attached, could be like finding a needle in a haystack with all of the Starlings flying around up there though.

Red kite over Bottreaux Mill east of South Molton

This Red Kite was soaring overhead Bottreaux Mill near West Anstey, east of South Molton today at 09:50. Looking very tatty it drifted off towards South Molton. This hasty image, taken through a gap in some trees, won't win any awards but it does show that it was a very raggedy bird.
