River Caen

Several hundred Canada Geese by the pond at Sherpa. 2 Black-tailed Godwits on the river just after the Toll House. About 15 Dunlin (mostly juvs) further on. By the old lighting gantry a single Wheatear. Nothing of note - like an Osprey - on the main estuary. On the way back north, a flock of 18 Black-tailed Godwits flew round and landed in amongst the Geese. One Buzzard and 2 Kestrels.
