Otter Estuary, Budleigh Salterton

The Spotted Crake still remains faithful to the east side of the estuary and now present for its 18th day! It showed well this afternoon on the rising tide, though generally most reliable in the morning if the tide is suitable. Also up to 3 Water Rails around the same area. Bar-headed Goose still on the estuary and the Egyptian Goose is probably still around, last seen 2 days ago at least.

On the cliffs west of Budleigh and the golf course, my first Firecrest of the autumn, Spotted Flycatcher and Yellowhammer.
