Bowling green marsh

Watched from 15:10 till 17:55

A very quiet high tide but still a few good birds the first was juvenile GARGANEY found asleep in front of the reeds on the far side of the marsh from the hide and showed well at times the second bird was a possible juvenile bearded tit seen only briefly so only 95% certain but unable to find again, and the third bird a running water rail in and out of the reeds on the far side again , pintail numbers continue to increase with 26+ , wigeon 35+, 4 tufted duck , 9+ Little egrets.

500+ Dunlin. 80+ ringed plover, 5 whimbrel
