MASS EXODUS FROM BLACK HOPLE MARSH, SEATON

Having, for many years seen on film, and read about, the migration habits of swallows and martins, today i was privilege to finally watch the real thing. an event made more special by the inclusion of several sand martins (photos enclosed) which allowed me to get within fifteen feet taking photos. They were using the wooden boardwalk of the hide as their staging post.
