Wryneck at Higher Piles Copse

Wryneck flushed into a hawthorn this afternoon near the southern edge of Higher Piles Copse on Harford Moor, Dartmoor, then dropped down to feed among stands of old bracken. Not what we were expecting so far from the coast, but a nice surprise.
