Horsey Island

Late Post - 27/09/2016

Horsey Island which is partially flooded by tidal inundation is now attracting a good number of waders including a record number of Black tailed Godwits (179 yesterday early evening) Also 1 Spotted Redshank, 4 Juv Ruff (1 male & 3 female),& 30+ Knot. Also Good numbers of Greenshank.

There is no doubt that Horsey is showing signs of evolving into an excellent wetland & has the potential of making a wonderful nature reserve.
