Bowling green marsh

Watched from  15:20 till 18:35

from the hide 4 juv curlew sandpiper among 220+ dunlin, 19+ bar tailed godwits, 1 common sandpiper, 1 white wagtail, 95+ pintail, 320+ wigeon, good numbers of redshank, curlew and black tailed godwits, 4+ whimbrel , 1 great spotted woodpecker, 4+ buzzard.

a quick look on goosemoor produced 19+ greenshank but more interesting was a mixed group of long tailed tits, blue tits  with 6+ warblers among them ( 1 very bright willow warbler , 4 + chiffchaffs , 1 unidentified warbler very brief views seemed smaller than the other warblers and the general jizz of the bird just didn't feel right for chiffchaff or willow warbler the group disappeared along the railway line and seemed to head into bowling green marsh despite searching couldn't find the group again  one of those birds that gets away just couldn't get good enough views of the bird.) also 3+ goldcrests .
