Meeth Quarry

I went back to Meeth Quarry this morning for the first time in a quite a while primarily to try to photograph hares, of which I saw none!

I was however graced with a Roe Buck that just kept moving towards me, I really didn't need that 1.4X converter fitted!

Lots of Green Woodpeckers, at least 4, seen and heared.

11 Tufted Duck on the smaller of the 2 main lakes.

Also sightings of Bull finch (m+f), Nuthatch, Great spotted woodpecker, Chiffchaff and a fleeting glipse of a sparrowhawk by the main car park.

Below every waypoint post there were pellets, I'm no expert on pellets but they looks too small for Barn owl... Kestrel maybe?

Various dragonflies still present too
