Around the Axe

Black Hole Marsh looking really good at the moment with an impressive 8 Ruff feeding on it this afternoon, along with 2 Little Stint, 2 Green Sands, 3 Greenshank and double figure counts of Dunlin, Ringed Plover, Lapwing and Black-tailed Godwit. All we need now are some westerly winds to bring in the American waders...

Earlier in the day a Bar-tailed Godwit was on the Estuary.
