Berry Head

Seawatch 11:00-17:00, in sunshine and a brisk ESE F4. On arrival a  large feeding aggregation in the entrance of Torbay, mostly large gulls, but also c450 Kittiwakes and c50 Gannets. In amongst these were 3 Common Terns, 2 Sandwich Terns, 3 Mediterranean Gull (ad & 2 1cy), 1cy Little Gull, 6 Arctic Skuas (most further out) and a sub-adult Pomarine Skua. Also 51 Balearic Shearwaters, up to six were feeding with stronger passage building late afternoon, moving through in groups of 4-5.
