Dawlish Warren

The juvenile Woodchat, found this morning, still around the far end of Greenland Lake near the pond till 5.25pm at least showing very well but very mobile and last seeen flying towards the golf course beyond the pond. Just about to leave when a birder walking back from the point said the Wryneck was showing, so with John and Tom G, we followed the directions to where he had said and within 5 minutes, the Wryneck was showing in the top of the bush . It showed well several times for a few minutes till 5.45pm.  Follow the path to Warren Point to the last red marker and the Wryneck was in the bramble patch to the left. Also 2 Whinchat in the same area.
