Mansands & Scabbacombe Head

Not much on the marsh for WeBS count, usual few Mallards, some Teals and Moorhens, but a Greenshank flew in to the Southdown pool and a Curlew was on the beach for a while. Then had a walk around Scabbacombe Head and seen a male Redstart, a Whinchat, Spotted Flycatcher and afew Willow Warblers and lots of Swallows and House Martins flying overhead. Yesterday at Froward Point about 100 yards along the footpath towards Brixham, saw two Firecrests in the pine trees with Willows and Chiffchaff.
