Bowling Green Marsh

Viewed over the midday high-tide until 1730hrs.

Birds of note were 2 Yellow Wagtails around the cattle + 4 Ruff + 5 Snipe + 2 Gadwall.

From the viewing platform the first bird i saw through the scope was a Curlew Sandpiper among the other waders preening on the shoreline on the outgoing tide first of the autumn + 2-sp Grey Plover + Osprey sat on post middle of estuary towards Dawlish Warren + 2 Spotted Redshank + Ruff (now 5 in total) + Common Sandpiper + 13 Knot and the usual good numbers of other waders. Peregrine put all the waders up and bunched them up on the mud.

Lots of Blue Hawker dragonflies around the marsh, very good camouflage in the photo.
