A nice spread of migrants at East Soar (after a slow start) even if quality and quantity didn't rival the best days. Starehole and the wood both held a fair few migrants. Most notable were 47 Yellow Wagtails, 3 Spotted Flycatchers, 2 Tree Pipits, 28 Wheatears, a Garden Warbler and my first Siskins (2) of the autumn.

Also: Meadow Pipit (c270), Green Woodpecker (1 juv), Willow Warbler (7), Chiffchaff (16), Blackcap (13), Whitethroat (12), Grey Wagtail (1), Swallow (c45), House Martin (c50), Sand Martin (2) and Cirl Bunting (2).

At South Efford Marsh this afternoon - Greenshank (4), Dunlin (2), Ringed Plover (6), Whimbrel (1), Common Sandpiper (1), and Egyptian Goose (2).
