Thurlestone Bay

At 08.35 this morning Bob B found an AQUATIC WARBLER in the sedge/reeds by the footbridge at the coastal end of South Milton Ley. Also in the reeds at least 3 Sedge and 1 Reed Warblers. As usual the bird was very elusive and only gave brief views over the next 3.5 hours. It was so elusive even Alan Doidge could not get a record shot !

This continues the remarkable series of records ,  of this now very scarce bird , in recent years at this site.
