Bowling green marsh

Watched from the hide from 16:15 till 18:30

A good afternoon with a big increase in wigeon numbers to 450+ and 300+ teal 17+ shoveler, 13+ pintail, spent most of the afternoon trying to confirm number of curlew sandpipers eventually had 5 in flight after a peregrine caused chaos, the adult spotted redshank, 1 ruff, 200+ dunlin, 17+ greenshanks, 24+ lapwings, 6 little grebes, 5 bar tailed godwits,  550+ black tailed godwits, 6+ knot, buzzard, kestrel, kingfisher. 

Had earlier been over exminster marsh and had 2 ruff and 2 wheatear on the scrape by the fishermans car park but no luck with the pectoral sandpipers
