0645-1545hrs Seawatching highlights: 282 Balearic Shearwaters, 6 Sooty Shearwaters, 177 Manx Shearwaters, 1 Bonxie, 4 Arctic Skuas, 6 Common Terns, 1 Arctic Tern, juv Puffin and 1 Ocean Sunfish. There were also many large flocks of presumed Manx Shearwaters at long, long distance.

Late morning a flock of 200+ smaller shearwaters passed S, frustratingly, at distance and in poor light but based on what we could see and flight action appeared to have been mostly if not all Balearic Shearwaters but we had to let them go as unidents! Shame as the record Devon count would have tumbled for sure. Just after this, peak Balearic passage of closer birds occurred with183 passing 1100-1400hrs, largest flocks 14 and two 13s, by 1500 passage had completely dried up.
