Wembury Point

On a beautiful morning there were 5 Sanderlings, 10 Ringed Plovers, 6 Turnstones, Dunlin, Whimbrel, Curlew and Common Sandpiper with the Oystercatchers,  Also good numbers of Pied Wagtails along with several Whites and a Yellow.  Good numbers of Chiffchaffs, Whitethroats, Blackcaps and a Willow Warbler. Stonechats numbered 6 and a flock of 40+ Goldfinches and 25+ Linnets with many juveniles showed Autumn is coming!  A huge scar headed [bull?] seal surfaced halfway to the Mewstone and shredded a very large flatfish.
