Hartland Point

Finally got round to the annual pilgrimage to Hartland Point last night to ring Storm Petrels. Accompanied by Chris Dee and Andy Lansdell. Ended up ringing 17 with one retrap from somewhere else - will post here when I get the details back from the BTO. Stayed on in the morning and caught a few of the local residents - mostly Blackcaps and Whitethroats.

One Grasshopper Warbler heard and seen in the scrub on the south side of the valley. Good numbers of Manx Shearwaters passing by and at least 2 Porpoises seen with diving Gannets.
