Shelly Beach Exmouth

The White-winged Tern was showing well on the receding tide at lunchtime. Viewed from Shelly Beach looking up river towards Powderham sat at times on a sandbank in front of green bouy number 21. Supporting cast of several Common Tern, numerous Sandwich Tern a Little Tern and a Wood Sandpiper.
