Roscoff, Brittany- Plymouth

Ever wondered what is far out there in the Channel?  Well yesterday (Saturday) I was interested in the absence of birds as I returned from Brittany (07.30 - 14.00).  Singles of Gannets present up to one hour out of Roscoff plus a later Gt Skua and Manx Shearwater.  Then nothing until about two hours before Plymouth when the ferry passed through a group of c.100 Gannet and two Dolphin, presumably after a fish shoal. A heavy swell was present, a westerly wind with mist mid-channel and for most of the time I was about the only one on deck!.
