Many thanks to everyone who has taken time to sign the petition calling for the rejection of proposals by the Salcombe and Kingsbridge Estuary Waterskiiing Association (SKEWA), to allow Waterskiing and Wakeboarding into the heart of the estuary at Widegates. If you disagree with the proposals and have not yet signed please take time to join the petition here, http://chn.ge/1rfz9Aw  less than a week it has got over 1000 names to it. This has dealt a big blow to the previously confident and bullish SKEWA but it is no time to relax, they still believe that skiing will have no detrimental impact on the estuary and are as determined as ever to get a positive result for their campaign. Please keep the signatures coming and spread the word .
