Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton

A boat trip along the Jurassic Coast today was interesting with highlights being good numbers of young Kittiwakes off Straight Point including at least 3 colour ringed birds that seem to be from the Brittany population and an eclipse drake Eider west of Budleigh Beach.

This evening on the Otter Estuary at least 8 Common Sandpiper (up to 11 in recent days) plus 1 Dunlin and 1 Whimbrel.
