Prawle Point and South Huish

Very quiet today at Prawle though initial hopes raised by sighting of 1 Whinchat and 3 Yellow Wagtails .  Seawatch from 7.40 to 9.40 saw steady passage of Gannets and  , after mizzle and low cloud arrived , 11 Balearic Shearwaters flew west; also  1 Bar Tailed Godwit and 1 Bonxie. Highlight ? Minimum of 13 Harbour Porpoises in at least 2 pods.

Later went home  via South Huish marsh where 8 Yellow Wags, 7 Dunlin, 1 Curlew Sandpiper briefly before flying off scared off by a Sparrowhawk ; and 3 each of House and Sand Martins.
