Thurlestone Bay

Another interesting day in the Bay .

At 09.00 15 Manx & 2 Balearic Shearwater east, 1 Med Gull, 1 Curlew. At 13.10 a Common Tern accompanied by a Black Tern flew east. At 13.30 a flock of 8 Geese flew high east , consensus was they were Geylag  ( anyone pick them up along the coast ? ) later 5 Sandwich Tern

On South Huish Marsh, 8 Dunlin , 2 Wheatear and our first Kingfisher of the year- later seen on the rocks .In gardens of one of the houses by the marsh 2 Pied Fly, 2 Whitethroat and 2 Willow Warbler .

On T'stone Marsh at 14.00 2 Wigeon and a Snipe.

Early morning Bob B had 6 Reed , 3 Sedge Warbler  ,4 Tree Pipit and 12 Yellow Wagtail
