Prawle Point

No seawatch for me today so a very pleasant walk along the coastal path to Horsley Cove in mainly glorious warmth produced:

1 Spotted Flycatcher, 1 Wheatear,16 Whitethroats, 1 Blackcap and Willow Warbler. Wader-wise 27 Ringed Plover, 2 Whimbrel, 2 Dunlin, 2 Turnstone (s.p) 1 Curlew ,23 Oystercatchers, and ,unusually, a Snipe hiding amongst seaweed on the beach at Horsley Cove.

Butterfly wise, at least 150 plus whites in the field next to 'bunkers' plus 2 Clouded Yellows.
