Torbay

Several thousand (perhaps 10,000 or more) Gulls including a lot of Kittiwakes and 3 close Mediterranean Gulls, feeding in Torbay (watching from Berry Hd), scanning through the birds I soon found large rafts of Manx Shearwaters sat and actively feeding in the bay, counting around 800-1,000. Mixed in with them were 20+Balearic Shearwaters (I only had my binoculars - no telescope) and a Great Skua - if only the short pelagic trip was a day later who knows was out there with them!
