Black Hole Marsh

Juv Spotted Redshank still on Black Hole Marsh this morning, with 3 Redshank.  Also 45 Teal, 25 Black-tailed Godwits, 16 Dunlin, c8 Common Sands, 5 Green Sands, 3 Snipe, 2 Lapwing and a Water Rail.

Mid morning a lone Whimbrel flew west over the house (a common sight and sound in spring, not so in autumn).

Just had a mid afternoon stroll over Beer Head, singles of Yellow Wagtail and Whitethroat were the only migrants.
