Rillage Point

A brief respite in the rain around 09.00 this morning and a flock of 8 Swifts came in off the sea from the NW and straight into the SE headwind. Looked at the rainfall radar and they were flying in a narrow clear slot that stretched all the way to the Exe Estuary and Channel coast. Smart birds these migrants.
