Bowling green marsh

watched from 09:30 till 12:00

the highlight was 5 common Terns ( 3 adults and 2 1st summers ) also another 1st summer tern it was a little smaller than the other 1st summers with an all black bill more slender and fairly long but could not get enough for Id .

good numbers of waders with the adult spotted redshank, 220+ redshanks , 22+ greenshanks, 409+ curlew, 31+ whimbrel, 231+ black tailed godwits, 8 bar tailed godwits, 15+ dunlin, 8+ lapwing.

1708+ black headed gulls included 7 Mediterranean gulls( 3 adults, 1 2nd summer, 1 1st summer , 2 juv's)

2 wigeon, 28+ mallard, 12+ reed warblers.
