Northam, near Torridge Bridge

Further to my earlier post about Mediterranean Gulls hawking for flying ants over the garden many of the gulls went down to rest on the mud/sand banks below my house. Amongst a group of 30 plus Black-headed Gulls there were 3 adult Meds (1 with a yellow colour ring on the left leg) 2 first summer birds and 1 second summer bird. Autumn seems to be just around the corner!!
