Cann Woods, Plympton - Nightjars. Monday 1 June

A butter-side up evening! In position from 9.30 to 10.15pm during which time the churring and wing clapping was more or less constant. Many close views of singles and 2 birds chasing each other. At one point 3 birds in the bins simultaneously one obliging bird that landed on a track-side fence post in good light about 10 metres away. I estimated a minimum of 8 birds within view/earshot at any one time.
