Just returned from a couple of days on Lundy helping out with some Manx Shearwater monitoring plots with RSPB and Lundy warden. All positive with plenty of birds recorded and great to see so many Puffins around too. Since the island was declared "rat free" the seabird population just seems to go from strength to strength!

Not much time for other birding, but Woodchat Shrike, Scarlet Rosefinch and Osprey were seen by other birders during my stay. However, I did get time to look for a reported Black-headed Wagtail yesterday, but assuming it was the same bird, I could only find a pretty classic looking Grey-headed Wagtail (thunbergi). A good find by the initial observer all the same.
