Wrafton etc.

In bright sunshine, the Glossy Ibis was looking very smart out on the scrape this morning, but it left just before 10a.m, heading South for the marsh. Viewed from the reserve, at last: an 'arrival' of Swifts over the marsh, so I headed down to get a closer look. Probably 40+ Swifts swirling about with a few other hirundines. I was also delighted to find 3 very smart male Yellow Wagtails. Too far for pics, and then they hid in the long grass!
