Exminster Marshes

Walk around the southern end this morning. No sign of Stilt. About 20 whimbrel scattered around with one flock of 15 near the railway path. Also one or possibly two lesser whitethroat with a small influx of blackcaps. About 85 shelduck roosting with a small unidentified wader (ringed plover?). Elsewhere one common sandpiper. Passage of swifts over.
