Bowling green marsh

Watched from 07:30 till 11:40

from the hide 25+ bar tailed godwits, 2 1st summer Mediterranean gulls

From the viewing platform 6 Red kites all heading north / north east the first was picked up opposite the viewing platform low over trees, the second was over Lympstone village, the last four were picked up as they crossed the exe from starcross towards Lympstone , also 1 kestrel, 1 peregrine, 2 sparrowhawk, and 10+ buzzards, 1 whimbrel.

There were large numbers of swift all around the estuary impossible to count as could be seen from ground level to very high this was the most I've seen this spring around the estuary.
