Dartmoor this morning still unseasonably cold with windy conditions at times, but that did not stop birders sprouting up all over the moor after reports of the Lammergeier being seen earlier in the morning near Venford and Princetown.

Babeny area ~  Skylarks 16+, Stonechat 8+, Great Black Backed Gulls 2, Buzzard 5, Kestrel, Meadow Pipit 6, Cuckoo 2, Linnet 3, Swallow and House Martin in good numbers and Yellowhammer.

Headland Warren down to Challacombe ~  one female Wheatear, Meadow Pipits,  Skylarks, Four Raven, Two Cuckoo and my first Whinchat of the year with three birds being seen. The reed grass areas at Challcombe were swarming with feeding Swallows.
