Rillage Point to Watermouth

07.45 to 09.55; clear, sunny; E2-3: Visible migration = 15 Swallows, 1 Tree Pipit, 5 Siskins and 6 Lesser Black-backed Gulls all flying E, plus a new species for my patch, a 2nd calendar-year Iceland Gull flying E close-in to the cliffs on the same line as the LB-bs and possible migrant Herring Gulls (though more difficult to separate these from movements of local breeding birds). Also 2 male Lesser Whitethroats in the scrub. Offshore 6 Gannets feeding over 3 Harbour Porpoises and 2 Common Dolphins.
