Lundy trip

Joined 149 other souls on the annual DBWPS trip to the island today. Good to see yet more Puffins this year. the numbers of other Auks also seems to be good. On the island a Grasshopper Warbler by quarter wall and then an adult female Marsh Harrier moving north along the sheltered west side of the island. There had clearly also been a small but significant fall of Spotted Flycatchers. Later on back in Milcombe a Turtle Dove, and others saw a Garden Warbler. Someone else reported a Whinchat. Finally as we descended to the boat a cracking Wood Warbler and then two Sandwich Terns in the bay. Buzzard, Kestrel and Sparrowhawk all seen. Fine very calm return trip.
