Rillage Point

06.10 to 07.45, clear and cool (7C first thing), ESE3: an obvious small fall of migrants in the coastal scrub in spite of the clear conditions: 7 Common Whitethroats, 3 Lesser Whitethroats (my highest-ever count here!), 4 Blackcaps, 6 Chiffchaffs, 2 Willow Warblers, 2 Wheatears. Almost nil visible/audible migration; just 9 Swallows, 1 Tree Pipit and 2 Siskins.
