Trendlebere Down and Yarner Wood

On the Down 2 Yellowhammers, 2 Bullfinches, 4 Tree Pipits, 6 Stonechats, 4 Buzzards, Sparrowhawk, 3 Linnets, 1 Redpoll, 3 Willow Warblers, Chiffchaff, Whitethroat, Garden Warbler, Siskin, 3 Swifts, 2 Jays and a Cuckoo calling in the distance.

In the Wood 6+ Pied Flycatchers, 5 Wood Warblers, male Redstart (showing well in the canopy and in full song close to the Field Museum), Nuthatch, Treecreeper, 2 Mistle Thrushes, 2 Song Thrushes and Goldcrest.  Feeders in front of the Pond Hide yielded mixed tit flock including 2+ Marsh Tits.  Also three male Mandarins, more Siskins, male and female Great Spotted Woodpecker and a gaudy Grey Wagtail.   Green Woodpecker and Raven calling elsewhere in the Wood.

Not bad considering that I had a three year old for company!
