Exmouth (off sea front)

Brief sea watch this morning (06.15 - 07.45) from the lifeboat station.

A fairly mobile flock of 30+ 'commic' terns feeding between Exmouth and Dawlish Warren included at least 4, but probably several Roseate Terns. Difficult to establish a firm total as they were constantly on the move, and at times distant.

Other birders were about, so hopefully they'll post more accurate species counts later.

Also 5 Whimbrel, 7 Common Scoter and a few in-bound Swallows.
