Upottery Airfield, Smeatharpe

In less than ideal conditions this morning (strong north westerly wind making it feel more like March than May), evidence of some passage as around 20 swallows battled north along with a single swift. A single wheatear on the dung heap, 1 whitethroat singing from scrub and a green sand flushed from rough pasture. 9 skylarks singing and around 10 linnets.
