Shipley Bridge > Avon dam, South Brent

Shipley Bridge to the Dam late this morning, two Dipper, Song and Mistle Thrush, three Buzzard, one Raven, a male Stonechat, Skylarks singing, Meadow Pipits dotted about, Green Woodpecker calling, either side of the old pump house at least three Willow Warbler in full song, one Chiffchaff and a singing Whitethroat, a small flock of Linnet.
 
On approaching the car park a pair of Roe deer feeding close to the road and on the walk two medium sized brown butterflies.
